The Tashibu no Sho Osaki Area has been designated as having nationally-important cultural scenery. Its rice paddy landscape has existed unchanged for over 1,000 years. In spring, the water filled paddies are giant mirrors of the sky above. In early summer, fireflies dance about, and rice stalks droop heavy with grain in the fall. You can feel the essence of each season here.
